Health Vision (A Welfare Organization)

Healthcare & Welfare in the Community

Health Vision (A Welfare Organization) works to improve access to healthcare and respond to community needs through subsidized care, patient support, outreach, community projects, partnerships, and the development of healthcare services.

Formally registered in 1999, its work builds on Health Vision’s healthcare and community activities dating back to 1992.

What We Do

Working where healthcare and community needs meet.

Health Vision works both through its healthcare institutions and directly within communities.

Through IQ Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Dr. Aisha’s Health Vision Hospital, the organization helps support access to psychiatric, psychological, medical, surgical, diagnostic, and other healthcare services.

Beyond its facilities, Health Vision has undertaken community health programs, medical outreach, disaster response, preventive healthcare, eye care initiatives, clean water projects, and other welfare activities according to identified community needs.

Our Areas of Work

Where Health Vision focuses its efforts.

Welfare-Supported Healthcare

Financial assistance and subsidized care for eligible patients receiving treatment through the Health Vision network, subject to individual circumstances and available resources.

Community Health & Outreach

Healthcare initiatives delivered beyond our facilities, including medical outreach, preventive health programs, health education, and community-based services.

Mental Health

Supporting access to psychiatric, psychological, neurodevelopmental, and rehabilitative care through IQ Institute of Neuropsychiatry, alongside community mental health initiatives and awareness.

Medical & Surgical Care

Supporting access to multidisciplinary healthcare through Dr. Aisha’s Health Vision Hospital, including medical, surgical, diagnostic, critical care, and inpatient services.

Eye Care

A longstanding area of Health Vision’s welfare work, including surgical eye camps and initiatives developed to improve access to ophthalmic care in underserved communities.

Relief & Community Support

Health Vision has responded to emergencies and wider community needs through medical relief, food and essential supplies, clean water initiatives, and other forms of community assistance.

Access to Care

Supporting patients who need financial assistance.

Health Vision’s welfare work includes supporting eligible patients who may be unable to meet the full cost of their healthcare.

Welfare assistance may contribute toward consultations, investigations, treatment, procedures, hospital care, or other healthcare needs depending on the patient’s circumstances, the service required, and available welfare resources.

Support is assessed individually and cannot be guaranteed solely on the basis of a request.

Availability and level of assistance vary according to individual circumstances, clinical requirements, and available welfare funds.
In the Community

From healthcare outreach to long-term community initiatives.

Over more than three decades, Health Vision’s community work has responded to different needs across Pakistan.

Its initiatives have included disaster and medical relief, refugee healthcare, infectious disease prevention, vaccination programs, clean water access, community eye care, education and livelihood initiatives, and other forms of community support.

Today, community projects continue through Health Vision’s welfare work as well as initiatives developed across the wider Health Vision network.

A Longstanding Area of Work

Extending access to eye care.

Health Vision’s ophthalmology work has included free surgical eye camps and community-based eye care initiatives across Sindh.

This work has continued to develop through Al Ibrahimi Eye Hospital and the expansion of ophthalmology services within the Health Vision network.
