A Health Vision Welfare Initiative

Autaak-e-Aisha

An outdoor café and community space within the Health Vision premises, built around food, conversation, gatherings, and a purpose beyond the café itself.

Profits from Autaak-e-Aisha contribute toward the care of welfare-supported inpatients at IQ Institute of Neuropsychiatry.

Autaak Tree
Our Name

A nod to our Sindhi roots.

Autaak is a Sindhi word traditionally used for a separate room, hujra, or outdoor communal gathering space where guests are received.

Autaak-e-Aisha takes inspiration from that tradition while giving it a contemporary, open form: a place for food, conversation, music, activities, and community.

The name also carries a connection to the history of Health Vision. Dr. Aisha, for whom Autaak-e-Aisha is named, is a co-founder of the Health Vision Welfare Network. Founded in January 2026 by the son of Dr. Aisha and Dr. Shafiq, Autaak was created as an independent café with a direct welfare purpose.

The Welfare Model

Where the profits go.

Profits generated by Autaak-e-Aisha contribute toward patient care for welfare-supported inpatients at IQ Institute of Neuropsychiatry.

Mental healthcare can involve extended periods of treatment, inpatient care, medication, rehabilitation, and professional support. For families already facing financial constraints, maintaining that care can be difficult.

Autaak provides an additional, ongoing source of support toward this area of Health Vision's welfare work.

The Café

Come for the food. Stay for the space.

Autaak-e-Aisha is an outdoor café surrounded by trees, bamboo and open-air seating, offering a relaxed space away from the clinical environment of the hospital.

It is located within the Health Vision premises but has its own external entrance, making it directly accessible to the public.
