Al Ibrahimi eye hospital – a health vision chapter
Restoring sight,
restoring dignity
Over 20 years, Al Ibrahimi Eye Hospital has dedicated itself to one simple mission: ensuring that no one remains blind because of poverty. We’ve restored vision to over 200,000 cataract patients across Pakistan and beyond. Yet an estimated 6 million still wait.
As a chapter of Health Vision (A Welfare Organization), we leverage institutional support, governance alignment, and partnership reach to amplify our impact. Through our free eye camps in remote and underserved communities, we bring comprehensive eye care directly to those who cannot reach it.
Our work is grounded in Health Vision’s commitment to accessible, dignified healthcare and community welfare across all populations.

One donation = one life changed
Sponsor a patient’s vision
The complete cost of cataract surgery — including pre-operative tests, the procedure itself, post-operative medicines, protective sunglasses, and follow-up care — is approximately PKR 5,200 per patient.
By sponsoring one patient, you directly restore someone’s vision and independence. Your donation is not a charity; it is an investment in dignity, autonomy, and hope.

Why this matters
Cataract blindness is treatable. Yet in Pakistan, poverty remains the primary barrier between patients and surgery. A farmer cannot work without sight. A grandmother cannot care for her grandchildren. A child cannot attend school. Vision restoration is not a luxury — it is the foundation for livelihood, dignity, and family stability.
Our camps operate in areas where:
- Healthcare infrastructure is minimal or absent
- Transportation to urban hospitals is prohibitively expensive
- Communities have no access to subsidized or free eye care
- Preventable blindness has isolated entire households from economic and social participation
By organizing camps in these spaces, we remove barriers and restore possibility.
